Introduction
Oxford is the region’s capital city with all the services one would expect from a major centre, such as shopping, cinema, restaurants, night clubs etc. It is also the cultural centre of the region with museums and art galleries, including the Ashmolean and the Musuem of Modern Art (MOMA), plus several theatres. In addition, it is one of the world’s major educational and research centres with Oxford University, the Said School of Business and Oxford Brooks University all located in the city.
Oxford is also a good communications centre with a main line railway station for connections to London and Birmingham, a very regular (every 10 minutes) bus service to the centre of London and the A34 which is the main North/South connection between the M5 and the M40.
Woodside is a lovely business centre only 2 minutes from the Hinksey roundabout on the A34. Despite being so close to a major road, it offers very beautiful, quiet and peaceful surroundings, with magnificent gardens and lawns, shrubs, hedgerows, and even a swimming pool for the use of licensees.
